Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and the makers of ImOnIt ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. What ImOnIt is

ImOnIt is a household task and rewards app. Family members create tasks, offer and earn Life Points (LP), and redeem rewards their family invents.

2. Life Points are play money

Life Points have no cash value. They cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged for money, or transferred outside your family. They are a motivational game mechanic, not a currency, a wallet, or a stored-value account. Expired points are gone — that's a designed feature of the game, not a defect. Any real-world rewards your family attaches to points (like allowance money) are a private arrangement inside your family; we're not a party to it.

3. Your account and your family

• You must be 13 or older and provide accurate account information.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• Each account belongs to one family at a time. Family content is visible to family members as described in the app.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use ImOnIt to harass anyone, to break the law, to attempt to access other families' data, or to disrupt the service (including automated abuse of the API). We can suspend accounts that do.

5. Pricing

ImOnIt is currently free while in early access. We plan to introduce a paid family plan (with a free single-person tier); when we do, pricing will be shown clearly before anyone is charged, and subscriptions will be handled through the app store's billing system.

6. The service, as-is

We build ImOnIt with care, but it's provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during early access, is zero).

7. Ending things

You can stop using ImOnIt and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also discontinue the service; if we ever do, we'll give reasonable notice so your family can export what matters.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll note the date above and announce it in the app. Continuing to use ImOnIt after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
